Equipment housings & side panels
Exterior shells, access panels and non-impact surfaces on analyzers, diagnostic equipment and benchtop instruments.
Applications
Addrix is adapted for surfaces that benefit from passive surface functionality without serving as primary grip points, sliding wear interfaces or repeated impact zones.
Fit criteria
Strong use cases fit most or all of the below:
Initial focus
A natural match between contamination concerns and component sizes.
Exterior shells, access panels and non-impact surfaces on analyzers, diagnostic equipment and benchtop instruments.
Racks, supports, stands and organizers that are exposed during routine work but are not subjected to concentrated gripping force.
Black components engineered around Addrix from the beginning—potentially the clearest path to repeatable OEM integration.
Additional fields
Addrix offers additional opportunities in veterinary and controlled manufacturing environments. Each application should be screened against mechanical abuse, fouling, cleaning chemistry and regulatory requirements.
Application boundaries
Addrix is designed for use on static, low-pressure surfaces, and is not optimized for handles and grips, direct food-contact surfaces, abrasive sliding interfaces, or repeated impact points. Substrate and process compatibility are qualified on a per-application basis.
Design opportunity
Turn Protection Into a Visible Design Element. The black finish gives OEMs a built-in design cue—a purpose-designed panel or insert visually identifies protected areas, turning the coating into part of the product's visual language.
Use the black Addrix surface to distinguish a protected zone from the surrounding product architecture.
Coat a dedicated insert or panel rather than forcing an entire complex instrument into a deposition process.
Over time, a consistent black Addrix component can become a visible indicator that the product incorporates the surface technology.
